Zach Top Wins ACM New Male Artist of the Year Ahead of Sold-Out Tour Performance

Zach Top was announced as the winner of the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Artist of the Year. The announcement came from Brooks & Dunn via a congratulatory video. Top was recognized ahead of a sold-out performance in Wilmington, N.C., as part of his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour. His debut album, which shares the tour’s name, is also nominated for an ACM Award for Album of the Year.

Top expressed his gratitude to his fans, emphasizing the importance of their support in his musical journey. At 27, he is making significant strides in the country music scene, with his album reaching No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

The New Male Artist of the Year title places Top in a distinguished group, allowing him the opportunity to potentially perform at the ACM Awards ceremony. The awards will be hosted by Reba McEntire and will be streamed live on Prime Video and Twitch.

Top’s tour includes performances at notable venues like Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and New York’s Terminal 5. He is also set to support Alan Jackson on select dates of his Last Call Tour and will join Dierks Bentley’s Broken Branches Tour. Previously nominated for New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards, Top continues to build his reputation in the industry.
