Women Say Videos Were Consensual In Suspended Police Sergeant Case

In a recent court appearance, suspended Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Kevin Menon faced multiple charges, including illegal detention on the Strip and possession of explicit images involving minors. Additionally, he is accused of installing hidden cameras in bathrooms, capturing videos of his wife and sister-in-law. Both women have stated that these videos were consensual, though they did not provide reasons for the recordings. Menon has pleaded not guilty and requested a speedy trial.

The women expressed dissatisfaction with the investigation, claiming they were not treated as victims and criticizing the actions of the authorities. Despite their statements, prosecutors have pushed for a significant increase in Menon’s bail, highlighting concerns about his potential to exploit vulnerable individuals. A bail hearing is scheduled, and the trial for the filming case is set to begin on June 2.
