Ex-NFL Star Antonio Brown Wanted On Attempted Murder Charge

Miami-Dade police have issued an arrest warrant for former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, charging him with attempted murder. This development follows a shooting incident that occurred at a celebrity boxing event in Miami in May. Initially, Brown claimed he was the victim of an attempted robbery, but new evidence suggests he was the aggressor.

The warrant, which was issued Thursday night, requires Brown to post a $10,000 bond and be placed under house arrest pending trial, as the courts consider him a potential flight risk. Police attempted to serve the warrant but were unable to locate him.

The incident took place on May 16, when police responded to reports of gunfire at the event. Witnesses identified Brown as the shooter during a physical altercation with another man. Although no gun was found on him at the time, Brown was initially released.

Brown had claimed that he was attacked by men trying to steal his jewelry, but new video evidence reportedly shows him instigating a fight. According to this footage, Brown allegedly took a gun from a security officer and fired shots at the individual he was fighting with. The victim alleges that Brown pursued him with the gun, with one shot grazing his neck. The altercation ended before police arrived.

It is reported that Brown has known the alleged victim since 2022. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to search for Brown.
