The BET Awards 2025 nominees have been announced, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Culture’s Biggest Night. The ceremony will air live on Monday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with comedian Kevin Hart returning as host.
Top Nominees
- Kendrick Lamar leads with 10 nominations, including Album of the Year for GNX, Video of the Year for “Not Like Us,” and multiple nods for Best Collaboration and Viewer’s Choice Award.
- Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla follow with six nominations each, recognizing their contributions across various categories.
- SZA and The Weeknd each received four nominations. SZA is up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Best Collaboration for “30 For 30,” while The Weeknd is nominated for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year for Hurry Up Tomorrow.
- Chris Brown earned three nominations, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Award for his hit single “Residuals” from the Grammy-winning album 11:11 (Deluxe).

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the BET Awards will honor Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, and Kirk Franklin with the Ultimate Icon Award for their significant contributions to entertainment and community advocacy.
The ceremony will also feature a reunion of the iconic show 106 & Park, with former hosts AJ & Free, Terrence J, Rocsi, Julissa, and Keshia Chanté returning to honor the show’s legacy. (Rated R&B)
