No Limit and Cash Money Prepare for Epic New Orleans Hip Hop Showdown at ComplexCon

Master P has repeatedly attempted to retire from rap to pursue his basketball ambitions, but the music world keeps drawing him back—especially with a potential No Limit Records versus Cash Money Records faceoff looming.

At this year’s ComplexCon, Birdman and his iconic label will go head-to-head with Master P’s No Limit in a celebration and showdown for the heart and legacy of New Orleans hip hop.

Though No Limit and Cash Money’s rivalry was fierce, it always remained on wax, never escalating into the kind of personal feuds that have marked other chapters in rap history. Their competition, however, helped shape the trajectory of Southern hip hop, raising the genre’s profile and influence nationwide.

No Limit Records boasts over 100 million albums sold worldwide, while Cash Money claims more than a billion—thanks in part to the massive success of Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and the Young Money roster.

The upcoming event will also pay homage to legendary artists like Tru, Big Tymers, Mia X, Juvenile, Silkk The Shocker, B.G., and C-Murder, whose careers have left an indelible mark on the culture. The highly anticipated battle will be streamed live from Las Vegas on October 24.

Fans are left to wonder which label will dominate and what unforgettable moments will unfold as these titans of New Orleans hip hop face off.
