Young Thug is facing criticism on social media after several of his phone calls from jail were leaked online. Adding to the controversy, YSL Woody posted a video in which he threatened to come after Young Thug if his daughter’s surgery does not go well. Woody did not specify the type of procedure, but clearly stated that Thug would be held responsible for the outcome. He also did not clarify the reasons behind blaming Thug.
In the video, Woody says, “You know what? I’m real pissed off because tomorrow, my daughter’s gotta get surgery. And God knows, the lord gonna pull her through. He gonna protect her. But, if my daughter wakes up and she cries, and I hear her cry, Thug, your [expletive] gonna be mine boy.”
The clip quickly spread online, with The Neighborhood Talk sharing it on Instagram. Fans responded with humor in the comments, with one user joking, “If I don’t get paid today, I’m coming for Young Thug too.” Another commented, “There is no correlation… BUT I think he’s basically saying if something happens to her he’s going to crash out and Thug is the first one on the list.”

Woody has previously spoken about Young Thug’s fallout with YSL and the backlash he has faced online. In an Instagram Story, Woody reflected on the situation, admitting the stress it has caused him. He wrote, “The truth, no I’m not okay after everything I’ve been through. My intentions have never been flawed, even when I knew things. I held my composure and carried it around like it was nothing. People hurt my family for me having your backs because your mother and sisters mattered to me. I made sure they slept well at night. You’re talking about snitching when the world saw the effort I put in to get everyone here, knowing you didn’t deserve it.”
