MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. — Styx will headline the “Rockin’ in Paradise” cruise, setting sail from Miramar Beach, Florida, from Oct. 8-10, 2026, the band announced. The cruise will feature performances by Styx, 38 Special, Tesla, Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), the Marshall Tucker Band, and Jefferson Starship, among others.
Styx is scheduled to perform twice during the three-day cruise, and will also take part in a special Q&A session with fans. Presale sign-ups begin today. Additionally, 250 fans will have the opportunity to attend a private Styx soundcheck.
The “Rockin’ in Paradise” cruise is part of a busy 2026 for Styx. The band will play headlining shows in January, February through April, and June. Their January Las Vegas shows will feature a performance of their 1978 multi-platinum Top 10 album, “Pieces of Eight,” along with other favorites.
Styx will also join Cheap Trick for five co-headlining dates in May 2026, following Cheap Trick’s “All Washed Up Tour,” which runs from January through April. Both bands released new albums in 2025: Styx’s “Circling From Above” and Cheap Trick’s “All Washed Up.”
Later in the year, Styx will perform with Chicago on the “Windy Cities Tour – All the Hits … Your Kind of Tour,” scheduled from July through September. Both bands originated in the Chicago area and have become classic rock staples, but this will be their first extensive tour together.
The inaugural “Rockin’ in Paradise” cruise took place earlier this year. The event is named after “A.D. 1928 / Rockin’ the Paradise,” the fourth single from Styx’s 1981 multi-platinum No. 1 album, “Paradise Theatre.” The song reached No. 8 on the Billboard rock chart. The first cruise also featured 38 Special, Cheap Trick, Loverboy, John Waite and other acts.
