Original Kiss Drummer Peter Criss Teases Halloween Announcement

NEW YORK — Original Kiss drummer Peter Criss posted a short video Monday morning teasing a Halloween announcement.

The clip opens with a rainy, nighttime cityscape and moves to a warehouse filled with cobwebs as eerie music plays. When lightning flashes, the building’s name, “Criss Incorporated,” is revealed, and a pair of large cat eyes appears in the background. A sinister laugh is heard as “October 31, 2025” flashes on the screen, followed by the names of two record labels, FlatIron and Silver Cat.

In April, Criss said he had completed work on a new solo album. “I have my new rock and roll album for you, Kiss Army guys, coming out in the fall,” he said in an announcement. “And I really hope you like it. We had a ball.”

The album was reportedly produced by Barry Pointer, whose credits include work with Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson and John 5. Billy Sheehan and Paul Shaffer are among the guest musicians confirmed to have performed on the record.

Criss’ last studio album was “One for All,” released in 2007. He retired from touring in 2017, following what was billed as his final full concert, held June 17 at the Cutting Room in New York City.

Last week, Criss attended the memorial service for his longtime Kiss bandmate Ace Frehley, who died Oct. 16 at age 74 after falling at his home studio. “My wife and I were with him until the end,” Criss said on his official website. “I love you, my brother.”
