LONDON (AP) — Foreigner will celebrate its 50th anniversary with two special arena shows in the United Kingdom in June 2026, the band announced Friday.
The British-American rock group, known for hits such as “I Want to Know What Love Is,” will perform at AO Arena in Manchester on June 18 and at OVO Arena Wembley in London on June 19, 2026. The concerts will mark five decades since the band’s formation.
Foreigner has achieved 10 multi-platinum albums, 16 Top 30 hits and more than 80 million records sold worldwide.
In a press statement issued Friday, the band said the 50th Anniversary Tour setlist will span “from their early successes in the ’70s, through the legendary album 4, to more recent hits and timeless classics.”
After frontman Kelly Hansen departs the group this year following 20 years as lead vocalist, guitarist Luis Maldonado will step up as lead singer for the 2026 shows. Longtime members Jeff Pilson (bass), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), Bruce Watson (guitar) and Chris Frazier (drums) will round out the lineup.
Tickets for the UK shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5. A presale through Live Nation opens at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4.
The anniversary announcement follows news of several North American tour dates scheduled for this autumn and next spring, including a celebration of the classic 1981 album “4.” Foreigner’s original vocalist Lou Gramm will join the band as a special guest at select shows.
An expanded deluxe edition of “4” will be released Sept. 12, ahead of the album’s 45th anniversary in July 2025.
