“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” — Lamentations 3:25–26 (NIV)
Waiting is one of the hardest things we’ll ever do. We live in a culture of instant results, same-day delivery, quick fixes, and fast answers. But God works on a different timeline. Waiting doesn’t mean He has forgotten you; it means He is preparing you. Consider a seed underground; it appears as though nothing is happening, but roots are forming beneath the surface, preparing for growth.
In seasons of waiting, our character is built, our patience is tested, and our faith grows stronger. If everything happened instantly, we’d never learn to depend on God. Waiting isn’t wasted time; it’s working time. God is aligning pieces, moving hearts, and building the endurance you’ll need when the answer comes.
