Westgate Las Vegas is embracing its legendary showbiz roots with a slate of Elvis Presley revival events and performances by contemporary favorites. The resort has announced a series of Elvis-themed shows for 2026, headlined by “The King: 1973 Live — Aloha From Westgate” on January 14. This show is part of the new “Living Legends Series” and will feature Linda Thompson, Elvis’s longtime girlfriend during his Vegas years.
The celebration includes rare Elvis memorabilia displays, Hawaiian-inspired activities, “Karaoke With the King,” hula dancing in the lobby, and tours of the iconic International Theater and the famed Elvis Suite. The resort’s earlier Elvis event, “1969 Live! Return of the King,” sold out in July, confirming the King’s enduring appeal. That show returns July 31, with another tribute, “1970 Live! That’s The Way It Is,” slated for October 24, honoring the classic documentary filmed at the venue.
Westgate President and General Manager Cami Christensen describes the events as more than tributes, calling them a “time machine.” Elvis tribute artist Travis Powell will headline.
New Year’s Eve at Westgate brings two free shows from Las Vegas showman Frankie Moreno at Westgate Cabaret, running from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Moreno’s busy touring schedule includes recent gigs in Florida with the Naples Symphony, an appearance at Myron’s at The Smith Center on November 11, and his largest overseas tour to date in Denmark in January. He returns to Myron’s on January 27, promising a night of hits and his signature stage banter.
