The Emerald City continues to shine at the Sphere, as “The Wizard of Oz” immersive movie and theatrical experience has now surpassed 1.5 million tickets sold and nearly $200 million in ticket sales, according to Sphere Entertainment.
Debuting in September, the AI-enhanced production quickly became a sensation, crossing the one million ticket mark by October. The show features a fully rerecorded soundtrack, released last month in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. Among the highlights is Judy Garland’s isolated, a cappella performance of “Over the Rainbow.”
Performances of “The Wizard of Oz” at Sphere are now on sale through December 2026, with tickets starting at $104 and multiple shows daily.
