HGTV Star Tarek El Moussa Battery Case Dismissed

Tarek El Moussa, known for his role in a popular house-flipping TV series, recently had a misdemeanor battery case dismissed in Las Vegas. The incident in question occurred on June 6 at the Palazzo, where El Moussa was accused of striking and shoving another man. After completing impulse control counseling and satisfying other legal requirements, the case was dismissed with prejudice on August 5, meaning it cannot be reopened.

The altercation reportedly began when the victim, a stranger to El Moussa, allegedly bumped into El Moussa’s father at a roulette table. Though the surveillance video did not record audio, it showed a verbal confrontation initiated by El Moussa’s father. El Moussa then reportedly confronted the victim physically. Police observed injuries on the victim, which included bruising and a cut, but El Moussa refrained from answering further questions without legal representation, asserting that the man had struck his father first.

The dismissal of the charges was confirmed by El Moussa’s attorney, David Chesnoff, who expressed satisfaction with the resolution following an investigation.
