A new Smith’s Marketplace is set to open in early 2026 in Henderson, with Kroger confirming a January opening at 560 N. Stephanie St. in the Galleria Commons. The store is seeking city approval for a liquor license, which is recommended for approval, and previously received preliminary plan approval in February 2023.
This expanded Smith’s Marketplace will occupy nearly 130,000 square feet in the former Burlington and Dollar Tree locations, offering groceries, pharmacy services, electronics, retail products, and gas pumps. It will be the second Smith’s Marketplace in Henderson, joining the Cadence location, and the third in the Las Vegas area, alongside the Skye Canyon store.

November 30, 2025 at 8:15 pmSmiths better get back to their old ways. The employees are rude the prices are high the store is always a mess the coupons never work. Don’t no what they did in the last 7 months but they are really slacking off. They were always a little better than Albertsons but now they are below them. If this new place isn’t better than the one on sunset. I for one will not be shopping in their stores anymore

December 1, 2025 at 1:52 pmI frequent the Smith Marketplace in Skye canyon and it’s an awesome store. I do think workers in most retail establishments not only Smiths leave a bit to be desired.
