Palms officials have confirmed the hotel’s participation in this year’s Las Vegas New Year’s Eve fireworks show. With Palms joining the lineup, there are now ten “Strip Launch” locations for the annual celebration: MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, Venetian, The Strat, Resorts World, Fontainebleau, and now Palms. The Rio Hotel will once again serve as the command center for the eight-minute fireworks display, which is produced and coordinated by Fireworks By Grucci.
The event is organized by the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority and Las Vegas Events, who count The Strat among the official Strip locations. Palms Assistant General Manager Laura De La Cruz expressed pride in the hotel’s inclusion, highlighting that Palms is the first and only resort in Las Vegas owned and operated by a Native American tribe. She called it “a privilege to be part of a globally recognized Las Vegas tradition” and emphasized the hotel’s commitment to “continuing meaningful firsts.”
In addition to the fireworks, Palms will debut a ticketed New Year’s Eve celebration at Kaos, offering guests access to the pool deck and a prime view of the fireworks for $50. De La Cruz anticipates “an electric night.”
The fireworks event, which began under the “America’s Party” banner in 2008, also features live music and fireworks under the canopy at Fremont Street Experience, all part of the city’s official New Year’s festivities.
