The Mayfair Supper Club show at Bellagio, which debuted on New Year’s Eve 2019, is set to close on December 12, 2024, just weeks before its fifth anniversary. The closure was communicated to the cast via email late Wednesday night by partners and No Ceilings Entertainment founders Dennis Jauch, Kim Willecke, and Phil Shaw, following a decision made by MGM Resorts International.
Although the live show and its cast—comprising about 30 members, including original performers like dance captain Savannah Cross and music director Jean-Francois Thibeault—will be ending, the Mayfair brand and restaurant will remain open. MGM Resorts has announced that a new creative team will take over, shifting the direction of the club’s entertainment. A new show is being planned to debut for New Year’s Eve.
In a statement, MGM Resorts thanked No Ceilings and the cast for their contributions, stating they are “reimagining the entertainment experience” at the venue and promising more details soon. The Mayfair Supper Club had previously undergone several revamps and temporary closures, including for the pandemic and other entertainment changes. The restaurant, which replaced Hyde Nightclub (and before that, Fontana Lounge), is located lakeside at Bellagio, adjacent to the famous Bellagio Fountains.
Despite the end of this chapter for the supper club’s production cast, Bellagio continues to host other entertainment offerings, including Bruno Mars’ The Pinky Ring. The Mayfair Supper Club itself will continue operations as a restaurant with new entertainment programming to come.
