Luxury Mansion in Henderson Sells for $25.25 Million in Record-Breaking Deal

LoanDepot founder Anthony Hsieh has sold his luxury mansion in the MacDonald Highlands area of Henderson for $25.25 million. This sale took place on July 11, four years after Hsieh initially purchased the home for $25 million from luxury builder Blue Heron in 2021. At the time of purchase, the transaction set a record as the most expensive home sale in Southern Nevada.

The expansive three-story residence, located in the Henderson foothills, covers 12,655 square feet. It features two infinity saltwater pools, a glass wine-storage wall, a sky lounge with panoramic views, a DJ booth, seven fire features, automatic pocket doors, and an elevator.

Hsieh initially listed the property for $34 million in the fall of 2023 but later reduced the price to $28.75 million. The final sale price was slightly above his original purchase price, by 1 percent.

The buyer, Norm Christensen, who already owns a home in the MacDonald Highlands area, plans to use the mansion as his primary residence. Southern California real estate agent Leo Goldschwartz represented Christensen in the transaction. Despite his prominent role at LoanDepot, Anthony Hsieh is not related to the late Las Vegas tech mogul Tony Hsieh. LoanDepot chose not to comment on the sale.
