Las Vegas Woman Faces Federal Charges After Disturbance on American Airlines Flight

A woman identified as Ketty J. Dilone of Las Vegas is facing federal charges after an incident aboard American Airlines flight 2470, which originated in the Dominican Republic and landed in Las Vegas following a layover in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to a criminal complaint filed by an FBI special agent, Dilone began causing a disturbance during the flight by walking down the aisle, yelling, and recording other passengers and flight attendants. She allegedly issued verbal threats to multiple flight attendants.

Due to her disruptive behavior, flight attendants restrained Dilone using flex cuffs on her wrists and secured her with her seatbelt. Additionally, duct tape was used to secure her torso. After Dilone reportedly kicked a flight attendant, her legs were also restrained with duct tape.

Upon arrival at Harry Reid International Airport, Dilone was arrested by FBI agents and taken to the Henderson Detention Center. She has been charged with one count of interference with a flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating, or wounding. Dilone made her initial court appearance in Las Vegas on Thursday.
