Internet Outage Disrupts Services at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas

A system outage at The Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip caused service disruptions on Saturday evening, affecting gaming, check-in, and on-site purchases. The resort attributed the issue to an internet problem, which their IT team has since resolved, allowing most operations to resume.

The outage, starting around 4:30 p.m., left visitors unable to use mobile check-in, in-room phones, or charge restaurant bills to their rooms. Slot machines also experienced issues, leaving some players unable to retrieve tickets. By Sunday, most systems were restored, though a few slot machines required restarts.

Guests like Isabella Cortez expressed initial concern about accessing their rooms and adjusted their plans due to the inability to charge meals to their rooms. Despite the inconvenience, many guests, including Rodney Gardner, remained understanding of the situation, choosing to adapt and enjoy their time at the resort.
