Dolly Partons Caesars Palace Residency Sells Out in Record Time

Dolly Parton has joined a prestigious list of artists by selling out her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Like Adele and Garth Brooks before her, Parton’s shows were in high demand, with Ticketmaster announcing the sellout of all six dates shortly after the sale began. The demand was overwhelming, with over 700,000 people in the queue for approximately 26,000 tickets.

Despite the sellout, tickets are still available on the secondary market at significantly higher prices, with some starting at $1,600. Parton’s residency is scheduled for December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo at the nearby Thomas & Mack Center.

The rapid sellout followed a swift announcement and sales strategy by concert promoter Live Nation Las Vegas and Ticketmaster, who opened ticket sales just 48 hours after the series was announced. This approach generated a vast amount of interest and proved successful in filling every seat.
