Cirque du Soleil is undergoing another round of layoffs as part of its ongoing restructuring efforts under the ONE Cirque initiative. Company president and CEO Daniel Lamarre communicated the changes to employees, noting that over 70 positions are being eliminated among the company’s nearly 4,000 employees. These cuts are part of an effort to enhance efficiency and control operating expenses.
Most of the job losses are from Cirque’s international workforce, while productions on the Las Vegas Strip remain largely unaffected despite falling short of projected revenue for 2025. The company is merging its Revenue Team and Customer Experience Team into a single division led by interim Chief Revenue and Customer Officer Anne Belliveau. Additionally, Nadine Collette will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
This restructuring follows previous changes announced in February, which included over 100 job cuts in Las Vegas and Montreal, as well as leadership changes with the departure of key executives. The company is focusing on fostering collaboration and improving operational efficiency as it navigates these transitions.
