American Express Launches Speakeasy-Style Lounge at Las Vegas Airport

American Express is set to introduce a new airport lounge concept called “Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge” at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, slated to open in 2026. This speakeasy-style lounge aims to cater to travelers seeking a quick bite or drink before their flights, featuring small plates and a variety of beverages.

The initiative is designed for visitors who spend less than an hour in lounges, as noted by Audrey Hendley, president of American Express Travel. With this addition, American Express will be the only credit card issuer to have two lounges at the Las Vegas airport.

Sidecar will be accessible to all card members eligible to enter The Centurion Lounge, including Platinum card members. This new lounge is part of the Culinary Collective by The Centurion Lounge, which includes new menus crafted by renowned chefs such as Mashama Bailey, Sarah Grueneberg, Kwame Onwuachi, and Mike Solomonov. Bar director Harrison Ginsberg will also contribute to the lounge’s offerings.

The partnership with Resy chefs allows American Express to provide a unique culinary experience within their lounges, offering dishes created by some of the most acclaimed chefs in the country.
