ABBA Voyage Set to Dazzle Las Vegas with High-Tech Concert Experience

ABBA, the iconic Swedish pop group known for hits like “Money, Money, Money,” continues to captivate audiences with “ABBA Voyage” at the ABBA Arena in London. This innovative show features CG-generated versions of the band members as they appeared in 1979, providing a unique live concert experience without the actual presence of Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and Anni-Frid, who have expressed no desire to tour again.

Currently a sensation in London, “ABBA Voyage” is rumored to be making its way to Resorts World Las Vegas. Expected announcements could come as soon as this summer, with plans to occupy a specially constructed theater on the site of the former “Enchant” parcel. This move would mark a return to a city where ABBA’s music previously found success with “Mamma Mia” at Mandalay Bay from 2003 to 2009.

The production, developed by Industrial Light and Magic, is one of the most expensive live shows to date, costing $175 million. It’s a testament to the enduring appeal of ABBA’s music and the innovative potential of live entertainment technologies. As fans prepare for this potential new venue in Las Vegas, the show promises to be a transformative experience, celebrating ABBA’s legacy in a city that thrives on spectacular performances.
