Oakland Athletics Unveil Interactive Experience Center in Las Vegas Ahead of 2028 Relocation

The Oakland Athletics are preparing to establish a physical presence in Las Vegas as they plan their relocation to Southern Nevada by 2028. This fall, they will open an experience center at UnCommons, a large mixed-use development in the southwest valley of Las Vegas. This center will provide fans with an interactive glimpse into the new $1.75 billion Las Vegas ballpark, including seating options, premium services, and hospitality offerings. Additionally, it will offer insights into the team’s history and how they plan to integrate into the Las Vegas community.

The experience center will feature various exhibits, models, and digital tools to help fans visualize the 33,000-seat capacity stadium. The space, designed by Advent and built by Burke Special Projects, will also serve as sales offices until the ballpark’s completion in 2028. It will be available by appointment, offering personalized experiences to fans looking to purchase season tickets.

Located near the 215 Beltway and developed by Matter Real Estate Group, UnCommons offers a vibrant environment with office, living, dining, and retail spaces. Jim Stuart of Matter Real Estate Group expressed personal excitement about bringing the Athletics to Las Vegas, highlighting the significance of this development in his and the city’s narrative.

Advent, known for its work with major sports franchises, is crafting the experience center by integrating research, technology, and storytelling to create an immersive preview of the Athletics’ future in Las Vegas. This center aims to engage the community and foster a connection between the team and local residents.

The Athletics will not only be tenants at UnCommons but active participants in community events. They plan to host numerous events, starting with a watch party for their game against the Texas Rangers. Information on setting appointments for the experience center will be released later, with limited areas accessible to the general public to provide a preview of the upcoming ballpark.
