In North Carolina, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with North Carolina Wildlife Resources, successfully captured a sizable alligator weighing between 350 and 400 pounds. The alligator, humorously nicknamed Pepe, was found near the double yellow line on Old 30 Road. The sheriff’s office playfully stated on social media that Pepe was “cited for suspicion of being a dinosaur without proper papers,” as well as for “public loitering with intent to sunbathe and obstructing traffic.” Fortunately, the reptile was safely relocated, and no injuries occurred during the process.
