Las Vegas Icon Centerfolds Strip Club Closes to Make Way for New Sports-Themed Venue

Centerfolds Las Vegas, a well-known off-Strip strip club, is closing its doors. The topless dance venue on Paradise Road has been a part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene for many years. General Manager Lianne Heck, who has been with the club since 2019, announced the closure, expressing gratitude to the staff, performers, and patrons who contributed to its legacy.

The club is set to be replaced by Players, a sports-themed establishment that aims to offer a novel take on nightlife and performance art in Las Vegas. Centerfolds has hosted productions like “A Touch of Burlesque” and attempted to broaden its audience with shows such as “Murray’s Misfits” and “Exxcite,” both of which ended earlier this year.

Originally known as Club Paradise from 1994 to 2015, the venue was popular with the late-night casino crowd and celebrity visitors. However, it faced challenges, including a 2014 raid for conspiracy and credit-card fraud that led to indictments of five employees.

Despite these challenges, the club managed to survive the pandemic under Heck’s leadership, reopening as soon as it was feasible. As Vegas continues to evolve, Heck acknowledges the need to adapt to changing times and market demands.
