KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Relationship experts have closely analyzed the body language and non-verbal cues between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during the singer’s recent appearance on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s “New Heights” podcast.
Kelce’s broad smile and attentive gaze at his girlfriend of two years were telling. For further insight into the three-time Super Bowl champion’s feelings for Swift, one could look to his father, Ed Kelce. At the premiere of ESPN’s new six-part series “The Kingdom” on Sunday night, People magazine spoke with Ed Kelce about his son’s happiness, which he attributes to Swift.
“Taylor,” Ed Kelce said, identifying the source of Travis’s joy. “There’s no question about it.” He noted the evident affection during the two-hour podcast, calling it “so good… I think it was awesome. It was great to see them go back-and-forth. They’re two people obviously very much in love.”
People also interviewed Donna Kelce, the family matriarch, at the premiere. She praised the “New Heights” appearance, describing it as “really, really eventful… It was authentic. It was just something I think everybody was thrilled to see, and it was a very loving podcast.”
Swift and Kelce made their relationship public in October 2023 and have since been supportive of each other at various significant events. Travis has attended several Eras Tour shows, while Taylor has been spotted in the family box at Chiefs games. Swift gained significant attention with her “New Heights” appearance, where she disclosed details about her upcoming 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
