COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State men’s basketball team will play 11 nonconference games in the 2025-26 season as part of a schedule that is now set.
The Buckeyes, seeking their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022, will open the season on Nov. 3 against the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Jaguars from the Horizon League at the Schottenstein Center. The schedule includes significant matchups against Power Five opponents, featuring four games against Atlantic Coast Conference teams.
Ohio State will host Notre Dame on Nov. 16, face North Carolina in Atlanta on Dec. 20, and play Virginia in Nashville on Feb. 14. Game times have not been finalized.

The Buckeyes will compete in 20 Big Ten games in the upcoming season, evenly split between home and away matchups. While specific dates for these contests are yet to be announced, the locations have been determined. The Big Ten Tournament is set to begin on March 11 in Chicago.

Head coach Jake Diebler will be in his second full season leading the Buckeyes in 2025-26. Last season, Ohio State narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament after a first-round exit in the Big Ten Tournament, being among the first four teams out.
