KATSEYE to Perform Hit Song “Gnarly” at 2025 Kids Choice Awards

KATSEYE, the Los Angeles-based girl group, will perform their hit song “Gnarly” at the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards. The event, hosted by Tyla, is scheduled to air live on Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. ET/PT from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

KATSEYE, consisting of members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, has been gaining popularity over the past two years. With members hailing from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the U.S., the group is often described as a “global girl group.”

The group was formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ The Dream Academy competition and artist development program, which was later featured in the Netflix docuseries “Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.”

KATSEYE has received two nominations at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards: favorite K-pop dance challenge for “Touch” and favorite on-screen moment for “Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.”

Named to Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list for 2025, KATSEYE has also been recognized as an Artist to Watch for 2025 by VEVO, DSCVR, and TIDAL.

In recent months, KATSEYE has attended New York Fashion Week and performed at the MAMA Awards in Los Angeles with the L.A. Rams Cheerleaders. They also took part in the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert series and are slated to perform at L.A.’s Wango Tango in May and Lollapalooza in Chicago in August.

“Gnarly” will appear on KATSEYE’s upcoming EP, “Beautiful Chaos,” set for release on June 27 via HYBE x Geffen Records. Their first EP, “SIS (Soft Is Strong),” featured contributions from Ryan Tedder, Omer Fedi, and Blake Slatkin and reached No. 119 on the Billboard 200.

KATSEYE is the first act announced for the Kids’ Choice Awards, which Nickelodeon dubs the biggest party of the summer. The show promises more epic slimings than any other event. Kids’ Choice Awards 2025 will air across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2, and CMT, as well as Nickelodeon channels globally.
