Carfagna’s Market and Ristorante, located at 1440 Gemini Place, is preparing to host its annual cheese festival, which it describes as “the largest cheese event of the year.”
The fourth annual festival, known as “Parmageddon,” will take place on June 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cheese enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore imported 90-pound wheels and sample flavors from around the globe, according to Carfagna’s website. The festival will also feature freshly made Cheese Wheel Pasta, and guests can enjoy a dinner portion of Cacio e Pepe prepared tableside in one of the “big cheese wheels.”
Admission to the event is free and no ticket is required. However, Carfagna’s is requesting RSVPs on the event page for planning purposes.
For over 80 years, Carfagna’s has been serving a variety of authentic Italian cuisine in central Ohio. The 28,000-square-foot location includes a market, butcher shop, wine store, and restaurant.
