The Columbus Jazz Orchestra, featuring Byron Stripling, performs at Bicentennial Park from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Reynoldsburg hosts its Blues and Brews festival, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with live blues music, food trucks, and craft beer.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 13
Ohio State University hosts a football game vs. Ohio University. Tailgating all day at OSU.
Metro Parks of Central Ohio has several outdoor/family-friendly options:
Fall Slow Flow Yoga at 10 a.m.
Bye-Bye Butterflies at noon, to learn about monarchs’ migration.
History of the Hundred Acre Wood, a 2-mile off-trail hike exploring woods and ravines.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 14
An Outdoor Inclusive Adventure is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at a Central Ohio park.
There’s also a Bird Walk Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. for those who enjoy nature.

Weekend events offer things for many interests: outdoors, sports, live music, family activities.
The OSU game typically brings lots of crowd energy and has effects on traffic; good to plan ahead.
Metro Parks offerings are good weather-contingent; if it rains, some outdoor events might be affected.
