HILLIARD, Ohio (AP) — The Freedom Fest will feature a full lineup of entertainment, headlined by country music star and “American Idol” contestant Gabby Barrett.
Food trucks will be available from 3 to 11 p.m., with vendors including Dos Hermanos, Taesty’s, Columbus Coffee Co., Funnel Cake Station and more.
Families can enjoy games and activities at the Kid Zone from 5 to 9 p.m. The area is intended for children of pre-school age and older, according to the City of Hilliard website. Wristbands are required for entry, with pre-sale prices set at $8 for residents and $9 for non-residents. Wristbands will also be available on the day of the event for $10, cash only.
Live entertainment will include:
— Alan Carl Band, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
— Dillon Carmichael, 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
— Gabby Barrett, 8:20 to 9:30 p.m.
Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:45 p.m., following a performance of the National Anthem by Maria Lippoli.
The city advises attendees that alcohol, beach umbrellas, drones, glass bottles, personal fireworks, and pets are prohibited at the park. Shuttle service will be available from 6 p.m. to midnight.
