The Columbus Air Show is set to return to Rickenbacker International Airport this weekend, offering a schedule packed with aerial and ground activities. The event runs from Friday to Sunday, with gates opening at 9 a.m. each day.
Headlining the 2025 show are the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, who will perform with six F/A-18 Super Hornets capable of reaching speeds of up to 700 mph. Herb Gillen, director of the Columbus Air Show, highlighted the Blue Angels as just one of many attractions.
“We’ve got the F-16 Viper Demo from the United States Air Force, as well as an F-35 from the Air Force,” Gillen said. “We’ll have several dozen aircraft on ground display and a lot of other exciting things.”
Additional attractions include live entertainment, music, and meet-and-greets with Maverick and Iceman, characters from the 1986 film “Top Gun.”
Tickets are still available at various price points. Parking passes, which are limited, are also required. For tickets and parking information, visit the Columbus Air Show website.
