Charli XCX and The 1975 drummer George Daniel were married for a second time over the weekend, according to People magazine.
The couple, who first wed July 19 in a private ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London, held a second ceremony in the village of Scopello in Sicily, Italy.
People reported that Daniel’s bandmates from The 1975—singer Matty Healy, bassist Ross MacDonald and guitarist Adam Hann—attended the celebration, along with members of the band’s touring group and Healy’s parents, Denise Welch and Tim Healy.
Charli XCX fueled speculation about the couple’s plans in an Instagram post from Sicily days earlier, in which she was seen sitting in Daniel’s lap and spending time with friends.
According to Vogue, Charli wore a sheer, bias-cut ivory silk chiffon slip dress by Danielle Frankel, featuring spaghetti straps, a long train, hand-embroidered organza micro petals and baroque pearls. Her bouquet reportedly included eucalyptus, baby blue and gypsophila. Daniel wore a griege suit, cream shirt and black Oxford shoes.
Guests reportedly included Charli’s tour mate Troye Sivan, as well as Amelia Dimoldenberg, Devon Lee Carlson, Shygirl and Gabbriette.
During their first wedding in London, about 20 close family members and friends attended. The couple began dating in 2022 and announced their engagement in 2023.
A spokesperson for Charli XCX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
