BTS Unveils First Live Album “Permission to Dance On Stage” Set for July Release

BTS fans can look forward to dancing along to the band’s concerts once more, as Big Hit announced Monday, June 30, that a new live album will be released later this summer.

“Permission to Dance On Stage – Live,” the K-pop group’s first-ever live album, is set to be released on July 18. It will include recordings from BTS’s 2021-2022 “Permission to Dance On Stage” tour, featuring hits like “Dynamite” and “Butter,” both of which topped the Billboard Hot 100.

The album’s 22-song tracklist will also include live versions of “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey),” and “ON.” Additionally, a digital package titled “BTS Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul” will be available, featuring footage of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook performing at Olympic Stadium in Seoul on March 13, 2022. This package will include a 92-page interview photobook with behind-the-scenes content from the concert.

“BTS Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul” will be offered as a digital code in card format, providing fans access to high-definition VOD content on Weverse.

The announcement follows SUGA’s recent discharge from the South Korean military, marking the completion of mandatory service for all BTS members. Five years after their last album, “Be,” which topped the Billboard 200 in 2020, BTS is anticipated to reunite soon, as hinted by Big Hit and the members in recent months.
