BTS members Jimin and Jung Kook will return to the screen next month with the second season of their reality travel series, “Are You Sure?!,” set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Dec. 3.
According to a news release, the new season was filmed after the duo completed their mandatory South Korean military service. The show follows Jimin and BTS lead vocalist Jung Kook on a 12-day journey through Switzerland and Vietnam. Traveling with only their luggage, a modest budget and a guidebook, the pair take part in a range of adventures, from exploring mountains to relaxing by the sea.
The eight-episode season will cover their travels, with two new episodes released every Wednesday from the premiere through Dec. 24. Disney says viewers can expect camaraderie, scenic landscapes and the chemistry that was popular in the first season.
In the debut season, the duo traveled through New York state, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan.
This second season comes as BTS fans anticipate the group’s full return in 2025. Jimin, Jung Kook, Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope and V are expected to reunite now that all members have completed their military service. The group’s comeback would mark five years since their last studio album, “Be,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November 2020. Since then, BTS has released solo projects, singles and tours to maintain their global following.
With the group’s reunion and plans for a new album and world tour on the horizon, 2025 is expected to be a significant year for BTS.
