A staple Mexican restaurant in the Arena District has closed after a decade of business.
Nada, located at 220 W. Nationwide Blvd., served its last customers on May 29. Signs posted outside the restaurant thanked patrons for “10 great years” and confirmed that the restaurant has “permanently closed.” The Mexican eatery opened in 2014 and was the first Columbus location for Cincinnati-based chef and restaurateur David Falk.
Falk’s first Nada restaurant, at 600 Walnut St. in Cincinnati, opened in 2007 and remains in operation. It is unclear why the Columbus location decided to close, as its Instagram account is no longer active and the brand’s other social media pages have not announced the closure.
The closure follows Nada’s Columbus and Cincinnati locations recently winning the Diner’s Choice Award, a distinction voted on by OpenTable users. The restaurant was known for its modern Mexican menu, featuring a variety of tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, sizzling fajitas, and more.
The menu also included a selection of margaritas, wine, and craft cocktails, along with desserts like churros and tres leches. Brunch offerings were available on Saturday and Sunday.
Nada’s Cincinnati location operates from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
