Ariana Grande Teases New Venture Amid Ongoing “Eternal Sunshine” Era

Ariana Grande is hinting that her “Eternal Sunshine” era is far from over, as the pop star has teased an exciting new venture slated for next year.

In a cryptic Instagram video posted Wednesday, Aug. 27, Grande’s hand is shown trembling as she tries to tap a screen that displays the message, “A corrupt file has been found and corrected.”

The video then transitions to a message reading, “See you next year … Announcement loading …”

Grande, a Grammy winner, did not provide additional details about the teaser. However, fans speculate it relates to her seventh album, which topped the Billboard 200, since the video was shared on her Brighter Days Instagram account. The sci-fi theme of the clip aligns with the aesthetic of Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead” short film, released in April alongside the album’s deluxe version.

While it’s unclear what Grande is planning, she may be preparing to announce a series of live shows for “Eternal Sunshine.” Although she previously mentioned not touring in the foreseeable future, she recently disclosed that she was “working on a plan to sing for you all next year.”

“Even if it’s just for a little,” she added in a July post. “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music … !!! It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it.”

Originally released in March 2024, “Eternal Sunshine” produced two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” The album spent three weeks atop the Billboard 200 and saw renewed interest with a deluxe edition released after the November premiere of “Wicked.”
