Experience Formula One Thrills at Las Vegas Grand Prix Plaza

Grand Prix Plaza, a new attraction in Las Vegas, recently opened its doors, offering Formula One fans a unique experience. The venue, located at the intersection of Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane, spans 100,000 square feet and includes various interactive elements designed to engage both seasoned and new fans of the sport.

One of the main attractions is F1 X, which provides a journey through the 75-year history of Formula One. This interactive exhibit allows visitors to learn about the evolution of racing cars and technology, as well as the operations of F1 teams. Guests can also try their hand at creating their own F1 team and designing a car. The experience culminates in a 4D theater motion ride that simulates the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit, complete with moving seats and sensory effects like water sprays and gasoline scents.

For those looking to test their racing skills, F1 Drive offers go-kart experiences with different speed options, including a high-speed race for participants aged 16 and up. The track, featuring 31 turns and two DRS zones, runs through portions of what will be the team garages during the race weekend.

The F1 Hub, accessible to all guests, includes a retail store, the Fuel & Fork restaurant, a lounge, and racing simulators. Fuel & Fork serves F1-themed cuisine and provides large screens for watching various sports events, including global grand prix races. The venue aims to keep Formula One in the public eye throughout the year, not just during the November race weekend.

Grand Prix Plaza operates as a cashless facility and is open daily, with extended hours on weekends. Tickets for various attractions are available, with discounts for military personnel, children, seniors, and Nevada residents. The venue plans to reopen annually in January, following the dismantling and reinstallation of race infrastructure.
