Billie Eilish announced additional U.S. tour dates on Monday, May 19, along with two new shows in Tokyo. The pop star shared the news on Instagram, posting a graphic with the added dates for her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour and writing, “heard you wanted more shows.”
Following performances in Tokyo on Aug. 16 and 17, the new U.S. leg begins on Oct. 11 with three shows in Miami. Eilish will then perform in various cities across North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and other states, concluding with two shows in San Francisco.
This announcement comes eight months after Eilish began her tour in support of her 2024 album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which she started in September last year across the U.S. and Canada. In February, she performed in Australia and is currently on a European leg that started on April 23 in Stockholm.
Released on May 17, 2024, Hit Me Hard and Soft is Eilish’s third studio album, following 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and 2021’s Happier Than Ever. The album reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
To mark the album’s one-year anniversary, the nine-time Grammy winner shared a montage of clips of her friends listening to the songs for the first time on Instagram, writing, “can’t even believe it’s been a whole year since the album came out.” She added on Saturday, May 17, “Truly some of my favorite memories ever. love you guys. thank you all for giving this album so so much love.”
