Sinbad is returning to the stage for the first time since his stroke back in 2020.
He’s playing two shows at the Ice House comedy club in Pasadena, California.
And actually, one of them already happened. In a video posted yesterday, Sinbad announced the dates were April 29th, which WAS yesterday . . . and May 10th, which is Mother’s Day.
(He was indeed scheduled for a sold out show at the Ice House last night. There’s no word how it went.)
Sinbad’s speech isn’t perfect, but it’s more than good enough to do standup.
He says, quote, “I’m so looking forward to these shows. I got so much stuff to talk about. I’m gonna be talking more trash than I ever talked.”
His daughter Paige is opening the shows for him.
