Las Vegas has emerged as a top moving destination for 2025, with Nevada ranking No. 10 in the annual National Movers Study by United Van Lines. This marks the first time Nevada has broken into the top 10, rising from its previous No. 21 spot in 2024. The study reports that 57 percent of moves involving Nevada were inbound, signaling a growing interest in relocating to the state.
The primary reasons drawing people to Nevada include family, retirement, and job opportunities. Nationally, the states leading the list for inbound moves are Oregon, West Virginia, and South Carolina, which hold the top three positions.
The United Van Lines 2025 study analyzed household moves managed by the UniGroup network across the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C., providing insights into current migration patterns within the United States.
