Bad Bunny to Headline 2026 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show

Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show on Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the NFL announced.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el Halftime Show del Super Bowl.”

This will be the second Super Bowl halftime show appearance for the Puerto Rican artist, who previously performed as a guest with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez in 2020.

Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, continues to see success in 2024. His latest album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” released in January, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming his fourth album to top the chart. All 17 tracks from the album entered the Billboard Hot 100, giving Bad Bunny more than 100 Hot 100 hits in his career. He also recently completed a monthlong residency in Puerto Rico, which reportedly had a significant economic impact on the island and featured numerous high-profile guests.

Bad Bunny’s halftime performance will follow Kendrick Lamar’s headlining set in 2025. Previous headliners since Roc Nation began producing the show in 2019 include Usher (2024), Rihanna (2023), Dr. Dre and collaborators (2022), The Weeknd (2021), and Jennifer Lopez and Shakira (2020). Lamar’s 2025 performance set a record with 133.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched halftime show and reportedly surpassing the game’s viewership.

“What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring,” Jay-Z, founder of Roc Nation, said in a statement. “We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

Bad Bunny’s accomplishments include four No. 1 albums, 113 Hot 100 songs (with 15 top 10s), three Grammy Awards and one No. 1 single. He has collaborated with artists such as Cardi B, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, Ricky Martin and J Balvin, and recently appeared in films including “Happy Gilmore 2” and “Caught Stealing.” He is widely credited with helping bring Spanish-language music to the forefront of the U.S. mainstream.

“Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene,” Jon Barker, NFL senior vice president of global event production, said in a statement. “As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage. We know his dynamic performances, creative vision and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment.”

Super Bowl LX will air live on NBC. This year marks the seventh halftime show produced by Roc Nation, which executive produces the event with Jesse Collins. The show is produced by DPS and directed by Hamish Hamilton. Roc Nation also serves as the strategic entertainment adviser. This is the fourth year Apple Music will be the presenting sponsor, having first partnered for Rihanna’s performance in 2023.

“The halftime show is the ultimate celebration of music and culture, and few artists embody that intersection more perfectly and authentically than Bad Bunny,” Oliver Schusser, Apple vice president of music, sports and Beats, said in a statement. “At Apple Music, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Bad Bunny over the years, and watching his meteoric rise into one of the most influential artists of our time has been truly incredible. His music has not only broken records but has elevated Latin music to the center of pop culture, and we are thrilled to once again partner with the NFL and Roc Nation to deliver this historic performance to millions of fans worldwide. We know this show will be unforgettable.”
