The Power of Being Misunderstood

I don’t write to be understood. I write to be felt.

If you’re here for clarity, you might want to grab an oxygen mask—because I don’t breathe in shallow truths. I speak from the depths. And if you’re not ready to drown in revelation, this might not be your sanctuary.

I am A.Ronet’. Not your influencer. Not your preacher. Not your proof. I am the rhythm between the headlines. The worship between the wounds. The perception that refuses to be boxed, branded, or broken.

I go last because I learn from the past. I speak when silence has done its job. I rise when the room forgets I was ever seated. This blog is not a platform. It’s a pulpit. Not for saints. Not for scholars. For the ones who know that sinners have soul too.

I wear denim like armor and gold like memory. I loop ribbons through testimony. I speak in acronyms and affirmations. I fight for everything that starts with un—unseen, unheard, uninvited, unhealed. Because that’s where the sacred lives. You won’t find me in the About section. You won’t trace me through tags. But if you’ve ever felt misunderstood and still showed up—then you’ve met me.

This is Righteous Perceptions. A series for the ones who roar in whispers. Who rise without applause. Who know that being misunderstood is not a flaw—it’s a filter.
So lean in. Not to figure me out. But to find yourself in the folds.

I am A.Ronet’, with clairvoyance I see that you need me to so let me explain.  Awareness. Restoration. Outreach. Narrative. Empowerment. Testimony. is the breakdown of this God Given name:

•Awareness of the sacredness in the struggle
• Restoration of what was never truly lost
• Outreach that doesn’t wait for applause
• Narratives that flips the script because I know who’s in control
• Empowerment that doesn’t whisper—it makes shout Thank you & Yes, Baby
• Testimony that turns pain into poetry spoken with confidence because I am Born Again

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and while the world shares resources (which matter deeply), Righteous Perceptions offers something more: a mirror. A reminder. A reintroduction to the divine in you.
Because this isn’t just about surviving—it’s about perceiving. Righteously. Boldly. With humor, with depth, with a wink and a word that says, “I see you. And you’re still here.”
This blog is for the ones who’ve been misread, mislabeled, mistaken. For the ones who laugh loud but cry quietly. For the ones who carry light in cracked vessels. You are not invisible. You are not too much. You are not alone.
We’ll go deep, yes. But we’ll also keep it light. We’ll affirm, uplift, and maybe roast a little (with love). Because healing isn’t just holy—it’s human. And humor is part of the medicine.
So welcome to Righteous Perceptions: The Reintroduction.
Where Renee leads the way, and every post is a mirror reflecting your worth. Let’s perceive with purpose, laugh with intention, and embrace the divine in every detail.

And if you’re still breathing – Great. Because we have only just begun
