Gunna Joins Flerish Hydration as Co-Owner to Propel Wellness Brand Expansion

Gunna has officially joined Flerish Hydration as a co-owner, aiming to expand the brand in the competitive wellness market. Announced on July 2, the Atlanta-based rapper’s involvement with Flerish aligns with his personal health journey, which he embraced following his release from jail. Flerish, a “clean hydration” brand focused on health and performance, was launched in late 2024 by Avery Johnson Jr. and venture capitalist Nick Nevins. It offers natural hydration solutions free from artificial additives.

In a statement released via PR Newswire, Gunna expressed enthusiasm about his investment in Flerish, highlighting its role in his daily routine. “I don’t put my name on just anything. Flerish is different, it’s clean, it works, and it’s become a part of my everyday lifestyle. I’m happy to be coming on board and look forward to the journey ahead,” he said.

Gunna’s commitment to health is evident in his lifestyle choices. He emphasized the importance of natural support and balance, which Flerish provides. His participation is expected to enhance the brand’s visibility and attract attention from his extensive fan base, which includes 32 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 5 million Instagram followers.

The “clean hydration” sector is rapidly expanding as consumers seek alternatives to sugary drinks. Flerish positions itself as a healthy option amid this trend. Avery Johnson Jr. noted Gunna’s comprehensive approach to life and his significant role as a partner, not just a brand ambassador. Johnson Jr. believes Gunna’s vision will significantly contribute to Flerish’s future success.
