WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Saturday, December 27, 2025, the “Winter White Wonder” event transformed the historic Howard Theater into a sanctuary of style and soul, uniting the DMV’s finest for a celebration of community, culture, and Black excellence.
Guests arrived in stunning winter white ensembles, setting an elegant and unified tone for the evening. The energy was palpable from the start, with an all-star team of hosts—WUSA9’s Wisdom Martin, actor Lamman Rucker, and producer Tarek “Terk” Stevens—guiding the night with humor, poise, and unmistakable hometown pride.
The celebration was as much about legacy as it was about music. A standout interactive moment came courtesy of Toronto-based Lyric and Party, who led a spirited group karaoke session that brought the entire crowd together, blurring the lines between audience and performers. The highlight of the night arrived when legendary R&B group INTRO took the stage, delivering a medley of their timeless hits and filling the Howard Theatre with soulful harmonies that paid homage to the venue’s storied legacy.
With its high-fashion ambiance and unforgettable performances, “Winter White Wonder” was more than a celebration; it was a powerful testament to the enduring legacy and vibrant spirit of the Howard Theater and Black culture in the nation’s capital.
