Ray J’s recent livestream conversation with Amber Rose, as captured by The Jasmine Brand on Instagram, has brought renewed attention to his controversial claims about Suge Knight and his ongoing defense of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During the livestream, Ray J reiterated his belief that Diddy is not guilty of the most serious allegations that have surfaced, while making pointed accusations against Suge Knight. According to Ray J, Suge Knight is capable of sexually assaulting men—a claim he insisted did not apply to Diddy. Amber Rose challenged Ray J’s perspective, but he continued to defend the Bad Boy founder.
“I do know the truth, ’cause I know Diddy,” Ray J said. “Diddy did some bad things, but taking a man out of his will? I know people that take people, and Diddy never came off like Suge [allegedly] came off. I think he was more interested in men than Puffy was. Did you ever get invited to the freak-offs? Me neither. [Suge] is in prison, he’s being falsely imprisoned. It’s not okay.”
Amber Rose pushed back, saying, “You don’t know the truth. People knew Jeffrey Dahmer. Suge is probably just more outward with it. But that don’t mean it didn’t happen. The actual parties are not the freak-offs. It’s not the same thing. We don’t see that stuff at the parties. He be behind the DJ booth, giving out Ciroc—just a normal night. No, I was never invited to a freak-off. But that don’t mean we ugly. That means he knows we’re not with that. Ray J, do you know that he’s in prison for soliciting male prostitutes?”
Ray J and Suge Knight were once close, but their relationship appears to have deteriorated in recent years. Whether this rift is due to Ray J’s vocal support for Diddy, personal differences, or other factors remains unclear.
Despite criticism and the lack of evidence supporting his claims, Ray J continues to stand by his statements and advocacy for Diddy. As of now, Suge Knight has not publicly responded to Ray J’s comments, choosing instead to remain silent as the conversation circulates in the media.
