U2 Announces 2027 ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ World Tour

U2 has announced the first dates for its 2027 world tour, Carnaval de Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth.

The tour begins Feb. 23 in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguros. The band will perform a second show there on Feb. 26. U2 will then head to Brazil for two concerts at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo on March 10 and March 12. The tour continues in Argentina, with shows at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on March 23 and March 25.

So far, U2 has announced only six dates. The band plans to release additional dates for Europe and North America, including concerts in Ireland, at a later time.

The tour takes its name from U2’s latest single, “The Greatest Show on Earth,” which is featured on the band’s upcoming 16th album, Carnaval de Luz. The single follows earlier releases, “Street of Dreams” and “Silencio.”

In a press release, U2 described the new tour as “a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody’s life.” The band said, “A bit of showman, a bit of shaman, a riot of color, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto. Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are.”

Track listing for “Carnaval de Luz” includes:
Go (Carnaval De Luz), La Reina, Street Of Dreams, The Mirror Maker (Rosalía), Superficiality, If The World Is At War We Better Not Be, Silencio, The Greatest Show On Earth, Glorify, Midnight Sunshine, Can’t Stop Us Now, Torn (Feat. Dolly Parton).
