Daily Faith Recharge: Guard Your Heart

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23

Your heart is the control center of your life. What you allow in, be it music, social media, the words of others, or your own negative thoughts, directly impacts your everyday experience. These influences shape how you live, so choose wisely what you let in. Guarding your heart doesn’t mean cutting everyone off or building walls; it means being careful about what gets access. When you filter things through God’s truth, your heart stays strong. That kind of strength allows you to love freely without being wrecked by negativity or lies. Remember, a guarded heart is not hardened but protected, strong enough to love without being destroyed by lies. It’s a shield, not a barrier.

Be mindful of what you consume today—whether media, conversation, or thoughts—and choose what builds you up.
