Tien grew up in small town Howell, Michigan where she tore up her brother's vinyls listening to everything from ABBA to Zeppelin.  Although she loves it all, music from the 70s and 80s holds a big place in her heart.  After moving to the big cities of California, Tien got a Master's degree from USC and spent 7 months working as a screenwriting in Paris, France.  She came back to Hollywood to work on the production side for movies such as Sleepover and House of Sand and Fog.  But just recently, she finished a long term stint as a DGA Director at CBS/Paramount on a TV talk show and now looks forward to sharing the hits on Sugar95!  Tien has two teenagers who have both been acting since they were toddlers and a great husband who is a huge Patriots fan.
